Our NYC office has an opening for an experienced Director of Marketing. We are looking for an experienced candidate with prior marketing experience in the futures and options industry. This is a hands-on, independent role that offers an opportunity to define marketing strategy in a way that enables brand awareness and business growth. Candidates must be self-motivated and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to successfully execute across the full range of marketing channels and deliverables. 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute marketing plans to support customer acquisition, retention, and expansion through increasing brand awareness, supporting product launches, and promoting corporate thought leadership 
  • Create branded communication and content marketing across multiple channels, including digital (email, website, blog, social media), print collateral, and sales enablement materials 
  • Manage media outreach and communication. Serve as a relationship builder with external stakeholders, such as industry analysts and influencers
  • Oversee relationships with external marketing partners, including graphic designers, web developers, and content creators 
  • Plan and coordinate conference sponsorships and customer events
  • Manage marketing budget and evaluate marketing program against well-defined success metrics with a focus on ROI
  • Foster close alignment with sales team and interact with senior leadership on a consistent basis
  • Some travel required

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications or business development; Fintech experience a plus
  • Hands on execution of cross-channel marketing strategies, including website/blog, social media, paid and organic search
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms (eg HubSpot) and website CMS;  familiarity with HTML a plus
  • Strong project management skills with ability to collaborate with various internal teams globally
  • Proven success within small to mid-sized organizations, and/or start-ups is highly desirable

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or STEM related field (or equivalent) required

Specific Skills:

  • Must have excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized, and be able to drive projects forward
